“Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse” is the fourteenth studio album by Mariah Carey. The title was originally called The Art of Letting Go with the new title named after an old painting from thirteen-year old Carey called “Me. I Am Mariah”. The record is also Carey’s first album to have a Parental Advisory warning. The record is Carey’s worst era commercially despite its frequent promotion with media appearances. It peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and twenty five on Oricon. Four singles were released for the US: “#Beautiful”, “The Art of Letting Go”, “You’re Mine (Eternal)”, and “You Don’t Know What to Do”.
