Days Before Rodeo is the second mixtape by American rapper Travis Scott. It was released for free on August 18, 2014 by Grand Hustle Records. Serving as a prequel to Rodeo, the mixtape features guest appearances from longtime friend Young Thug, indie rock band The 1975, Big Sean, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, Peewee Longway and mentor T.I..
On July 11, 2014, Travis released the lead single, “Don’t Play” with The 1975 and Big Sean. The following month, Travis would take to social media to announce he would be releasing ten new songs within a month. He would also tweet out the mixtape’s title, before marketing the countdown everyday until it stopped at August 10, 2014.
The day before the mixtape’s released, he revealed the tracklist and artwork, consisting of twelve tracks in total. Hours after the project’s release, Travis tweeted:

On December 2, 2014, “Mamacita” with Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug was released as the mixtape’s second single, almost four months after Days Before Rodeo’s release.
Ten years after it’s release, the mixtape saw a re-release on all platforms, to which it consists of all the tracks remastered, as well as bonus tracks that were recorded during sessions of the mixtape, which are exclusive to Travis' website.
