VII is the debut studio album by Teyana Taylor, released under the management of Def Jam Recordings and GOOD Music. It follows her 2012 mixtape The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor and follows a similar style, both using 90’s R&B as inspiration. The album had three singles. The first single, “Maybe,” released on June 16, 2014 and featured Pusha T and Yo Gotti. The second single, “Business,” released on October 8, 2014. The final single, “Do Not Disturb”, was released on October 28, 2014 and featured Chris Brown.
