Shmurda She Wrote - Bobby Shmurda
Shmurda She Wrote

Shmurda She Wrote is the debut EP from GS9 member and rapper Bobby Shmurda, released on November 10, 2014. At the time, this was Shmurda’s only project to be released, however he was working on his debut studio album, which was supposed to be executively produced by Jahlil Beats, until it was postponed, due to Shmurda serving a seven-year sentence. Two singles were released prior to the EP’s release. On July 25, 2014, Shmurda released the first single for the EP, “Hot Nigga”. This became one of the most successful songs of 2014, as it went on to have two huge remixes featuring various artists, and later went on to get certified Platinum by the RIAA on December 5th, 2014. The song peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200. To help promote the EP, Shmurda released the second single for the EP, “Bobby Bitch” on September 30, 2014. The song later went on to have a remix with Rowdy Rebel & Rich the Kid, and got certified Platinum by the RIAA. The song peaked at #92 on the Billboard 200. On October 14, 2014, Shmurda revealed the cover art and the tracklist to Shmurda She Wrote and announced that it was coming out on November 10. On February 23, 2021, the day that Bobby Shmurda was released from prison, the EP received the gold certification by the RIAA, almost 7 years after it’s release.
