The Sweetest Days is the third studio album by American singer and actress Vanessa Williams, released on December 6, 1994, via Wing Records and Mercury Records. The album marked her first in three years since the release of her second studio album, The Comfort Zone (1991).
Commercially, the album peaked at #57 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming her first album to peak outside the top 50. On August 1, 1995, the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA, with one million copies sold in the United States.
“The Sweetest Days,” “The Way That You Love” and “You Can’t Run” were released as singles from the album. On the Hot 100, “The Sweetest Days” peaked at #18 and “The Way That You Love” at #67.
