In Love and War is the fourth studio album by Amerie. It’s her first release that’s not from Columbia Records. According to Amerie, the album is about the both good and bad times of a relationship. Three singles were released for the record, which failed to be hits worldwide; “Why R U”, “Heard ‘Em All”, and “Pretty Brown”. It became Amerie’s worst-charting album on the Billboard 200, peaking at number forty-six.
