Purpose is the fourth studio album by Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber, released on November 13, 2015 via Def Jam Recordings & Universal Music Group. Commercially, the album peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart on December 5, 2015, marking his fourth consecutive album to reach the top spot. During the chart week dated April 25, 2026, the album re-entered at #32 on the Billboard 200. It marked the album’s first appearance in the top 40 in nine years after last peaking in the top 40 in 2017. The album marked its 159th week on the chart. During an interview with Martha Stewart, he revealed some details about the album: It’s just very personal. People will be able to really get in to where my heart is.
