Skank Dollar's Change For a Dollar (The United Streets of America)

The Usa tape is the alternate name to this mixtape. Its my third mixtape and it was pretty much my first tape again with a vengence, I’m gonna be real! At the time when i began plotting (or planting this seed), this mixtape I was mad about a lot of things. For one i was being hustled no matter how good i rapped or sounded. Because my tracks where being ruined before i even left the studio, well my block i should say.. The people will track your ass down about music. That being competition or friendly competition Which is competition Either or really. That’s why my second mixtape is only 7 tracks and two are old as shit and the rest throw aways. This one i atleast tried to rap as openly as possible in 2013. I played Ustream pretty tough. I mean like for 6 months straight at one point every saturday. Knowing I’m taking an dramatic risk. At first i had 14 tracks written but once i seen how hard nobody goes to sabatoge me key word being “NOBODY” I started moving different. My first move was my time slot. I choose to rockout on a Saturday morning. Thinking about the days i would wake up as a younging cut the T.v. on and watch like “The Box” or Some early MTV when they played music videos. It’s either that or Saturday morning cartoons man. Then for some reason till this day there barly isn’t shit to watch on a saturday morning for real. For a youngin hell naw! My other thought was well if I’m lucky i may catch club hoppers in the morning. Like “Ohhh Snap whats that!?! Turn that up!” You alcoholic sociolite.. hehehe If i’m on at 11 A.m. new york what time would i be on around the world? Of course i’m thinking night time. But today i don’t think it’s easy to do with all these laws an stuff. You find loop holes ya know?.. Risky as shit man…. since i arranged everything beforehand. Man errrythang dawg.. some cats sent me beats. Pretty good beats, beats i knew they gave to they’re boys untimatlely like all producers tend to do. I edited some my self being an amature engineer, Not even an novice man i won’t lie. I rapped some stuff i knew wouldn’t hurt me down the line. Hotting my self up like all rappers do. I knew this way i’d outshine the rest anyway if it got out. Then i began going in… The cover i found over the net but knew it was perfect instantly. I added the title and stuff. But i wanna specify that chanel began as the designer of Mens suits. Before perfumes, sandals and well,, selfie sticks. Do the research like i did and you’ll feel me all over. The mixtape it’s self is about me but more about the insecurites of a young blackman in the ghetto. Especially where i’m from. First off sak pase… if i don’t do that you won’t even know or tell. Second i wanted to explore the things that me an mines discuss over the years. man you know what it’s like to be concious and like a thug bro? You have no choice.. i could just rap about whatever.. but it’s called the USA tape. It’s Trap music from a person who’s done it and still new york born an raised. Thats loosing it’s rareness these days… But thats a good thing. My alterante photo i found here surfing google a while back. I have to appeal to young blackmen like my self while keeping our women entertained. So Skank dollar forge’s #TheUSAtape
