Fortune - Chris Brown
Fortune

Fortune is Chris' fifth album and the follow up to his March 2011 Grammy-winning F.A.M.E. Fortune marks Chris' first album released under RCA Records following the rebranding of Jive Records in October 2011. F.A.M.E. was initially slated to be a double-disc album. However, Chris later revealed Fortune would be released as a standalone album 6 months after F.A.M.E.’s release. However, Fortune faced multiple setbacks, eventually releasing a year after its intended release date. Fortune was preceded by four singles: the Eurodance-inspired “Turn Up the Music,” the sultry “Sweet Love,” the rap-centered “Till I Die” and the David Guetta-assisted dance anthem, “Don’t Wake Me Up.” The remorseful ballad “Don’t Judge Me” was later released as the final single from the album. Fortune debuted atop of the Billboard 200 chart for his second consecutive number one album, selling 134,000 copies in its first week.
