With an original release date planned for April 20th, 2012 in correspondence with the cannabis culture reference of 420. The Green EP concept was put in motion by then CEO of GoodFelons Records JOHN “BIG MAN” VENIZELOS. Classic MCs were brought in including Masta Ace, Guilty Simpson, MC Eiht, Ras Kass, Sean Price, Copywrite & M.I. (of Constant Deviants). Marco Polo was given charge of handling all production aspects. In 2013 before the release had happened, John Venizelos was incarcerated following a publicly followed alleged mob associate trial. While on bail awaiting trial, John granted SIX2SIX Records the exclusive rights to release both The Green EP and a full length LP. The Green EP was eventually released April 21, 2013. The EP was dedicated to the pursuit and full exoneration of John “Big Man” Venizelos
