Raditude - Weezer
Raditude

Raditude is Weezer’s seventh studio album, released October 28, 2009. The album features several collaborations with artists and producers outside of the band’s typical genre. The album is also the first to feature songs co-written by artists outside of Weezer, including Dr. Luke, Jermaine Dupri, and Jacknife Lee. Interestingly, the cover for Raditude came from a National Geographic photo contest in August 2009. Raditude featured two singles, “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To” and “I’m Your Daddy.” The former was met with mixed reviews and received high airplay, while the latter was criticized by fans and found little success. The album also has a Deluxe Edition, featuring four bonus tracks. The album as a whole was met with mixed reviews. NME gave the album a 6/10, while (Rolling Stone and allmusic gave the album 3.5/5 stars. However, Popmatters gave the album 1/10 stars and Slant gave the album a .5/5 stars.
