The Remix Collection - Boyz II Men
The Remix Collection

The Remix Collection is a remix album by R&B group Boyz II Men. It was released against the group’s wishes on November 7, 1995. This collection features remixes of the group’s hits from their first two albums, as well as the songs “Hey Lover” with LL Cool J from his Mr. Smith album and Wanya Morris' appearance on the “Soulpower Groove Mix” of Brandy’s “Brokenhearted”. The album charted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 and number 15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. For selling 1,000,000 units, the album went platinum by the RIAA. This would lead to a chain of events that would see the relationship dissolve between the group and Motown, with their next album being their last album released for the label two years later.
