LONG.LIVE.A$AP is the debut studio album by Harlem rapper, A$AP Rocky. Following his October 2011 mixtape LIVE.LOVE.A$AP. After the release of his debut mixtape, Rocky signed a staggering three million dollar deal with RCA. Awaiting the studio album to release, the album was pushed back due by the label. First, being announced to drop July 4th, September 11th, October 31st and eventually December of 2012. But eventually being leaked within' the end of the year. In an interview with HOT 97, he addressed the album’s leak, stating: “Of course I’ve gotta be a businessman, but before anything I’m an artist. The album leaked, and I’ma leave it up to my dependable label, which I rely on to fix all that. That’s the business aspect. I made my art, y’all love it, and that’s all I cared about, and I just wanna thank everybody who anticipated this and who was waiting.” Rocky would kickstart the album’s promotion with the lead single Goldie on April 16th, 2012. Eventually releasing the infamous second single Fuckin' Problems on October 24th, 2012. Which features artists Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz & Drake. was released on December 18th, 2012. The final single, Wild for the Night was released on January 11th, 2013.
