Rock Hard - Beastie Boys
Rock Hard

Released in 1984, Rock Hard was the starting point of the Beastie Boys' Hip Hop career on a major label. “Rock Hard” samples the AC/DC song, “Back In Black”. “Rock Hard” was not allowed to be included on the 1999 compilation album The Sounds Of Science because AC/DC didn’t want the sample to be used. The cover design for this album is the first appearance of the standard Vinyl release logo used on all Vinyl Releases by Def Jam.
