JE Heartbreak II - Jagged Edge
JE Heartbreak II

JE Heartbreak II is Jagged Edge’s eighth album, arriving 3 years after their previous effort, June 2011’s The Remedy. The album is the sequel to the group’s 2x Platinum January 2000 album, J.E. Heartbreak and sees the group go back to their signature sound. While The Remedy saw Jagged Edge part ways with their mentor Jermaine Dupri, the group added him back into the fold for JE Heartbreak II, signing yet again with So So Def Recordings. The album also marks their first release on their independent label, Hardcase LLC. When speaking to You Know I Got Soul in November 2014, Brandon said: For us it was extremely important to add JD and Bryan Cox back into the mix because they were our original collaboration partners on the first project. For us to do this the right way, we felt we had to bring them back in the loop. JE Heartbreak II debuted and peaked at #28 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 12,572 units during its first week in the States. The album spawned three singles: “Hope,” “Love Come Down,” and “Getting Over You.” The album is only available on American streaming sites and its songs and music videos on YouTube are limited to the American audience.
