Most of My Heroes Still Don’t Appear on No Stamp

Most of My Heroes Still Don’t Appear on No Stamp was released independently through Slam Jamz on July 13, 2012–the first of two albums released in the year by Public Enemy, the other being The Evil Empire of Everything released on October 1, 2012. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Chuck D said the two albums are “They’re totally separate albums…fraternal twins. Unidentical. And these records will talk to each other.” The album’s name is derived from a line in the group’s 1989 hit anthem “Fight The Power”
