One of Wifisfuneral’s many mixtapes, Boy Who Cried Wolf was first teased subliminally through his tweets and Instagram posts which featured the caption “boy who cried wolf”. The title of the mixtape derives from a popular Aesop fable, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”. Noticeably, five out of the sixteen tracks featured on the mixtape such as “Centerfold” and “DisDaHateSongBby” were released months before Boy Who Cried Wolf was available to the general public. Although many artists ranging from Chxpo to Fat Nick and Danny Towers were present on the album, Wifi’s main producer Cris Dinero was responsibe for most of the ominous and horror-like instrumentals.
