Beauty & The Streets Mixtape, Vol. 1 is the debut mixtape from Mýa. The project was made due to Mýa wanting to release music for her fans in the US. The tape has a more hip-hop and rap sound than usual and features many US rappers. “Black Out” and “Show Me Somethin'” were the only singles released for the tape. The mixtape debuted at number fifty-five on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
