Prior to releasing his debut album In My Mind, Pharrell Williams released In My Mind – The Prequel, a mixtape hosted by DJ Drama, featuring appearances from Clipse, Twista, Fam-lay and T.I.. This mixtape finds Pharrell rapping over classic instrumentals such as GZA’s “Liquid Swords” and Ice Cube’s “It Was a Good Day,” while also including songs exclusive to this release.
