AWGE DVD VOL. 1, created by A$AP Rocky’s creative agency AWGE, is the first installment in the series of the same name. The video was released on the AWGE website on September 9, 2017, after being teased on Instagram by Bronx filmmaker and affiliate Hidji. The post featured the caption “Awge DVD pt. 1,” implying that there is more content to come in the future. The episode is 21 minutes in length and contains a freestyle between Rocky and good friend Lil Uzi Vert over an instrumental crafted by Metro Boomin. It is intermingled with a montage of appearances by good friends Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Ferg, AWGE signee Playboi Carti, Chief Keef, and The Weeknd, among others. The series' first volume also features the official music video for Carti’s 2017 single, “Lookin.”
