Following her massive country-pop crossover single, “Meant to Be”, Expectations is the debut album of Brooklyn-born songstress Bebe Rexha. Two promotional singles, “Ferrari” and “2 Souls on Fire”, were released with the album pre-order on April 13, 2018. The third single “I’m a Mess” was released on June 15, a week before the album’s release.
