Salo Sessions II - Sadistik
Salo Sessions II

Explaining the reasoning behind naming his EPs Salo Session I and II, during a livestream meetup with his Patreon followers, Sadistik said: Salo is an old film from 1976 directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini … it’s a really fucked up movie, honestly I don’t suggest it – don’t like check it out. Pasolini is a wonderful and renowned Italian director and … uhhhh let me give you a quick run down. My name is Sadistik, that comes from the word sadist which derives from Marquis de Sade – he was an old writer-pervert-philosopher from, like, the 15th Century or something – don’t quote me on that – but that’s where the word sadism comes from, he was a very infamous pervert. He would write disgusting books and was thrown in prison for it. He would write with his own blood and his own shit on the walls. Basically his books are an exercise in perversion and being vile. His most famous book is called The 100 days of Sodom. So Pier Paolo Pasolini adapted this book into a film which is insane. It’s an insane thing to do, because it’s barely a story. So he makes this movie, it’s really disgusting where figureheads come together and abuse, rape, and torture children that they kidnapped. And that’s what the movie and book’s about. So that’s where the title derives from.
