A Breuekelen Story is the collaboration album between Masta Ace & Marco Polo about love, life and lessons in Brooklyn released on November 9, 2018. As the Brooklyn MC Masta Ace shares his stories for his hometown through his rap tales on each song, the skits throughout the album are chronicles of Marco’s journey of moving from Toronto, Canada to Brooklyn, New York to pursue his music production dreams. New York City traces its origins to a trading post founded by colonists from the Dutch Republic in 1624 on Lower Manhattan. The post was named New Amsterdam in 1626. The New Yorker borough Brooklyn is named after Breukelen, a small city in the Netherlands. Same goes for Harlem which is named after Haarlem, or Flushing which is named after Vlissingen. There are many examples of Dutch influence in the US.
