One Woman Army [Shelved] - Ciara
One Woman Army [Shelved]

One Woman Army is the unreleased fifth album by singer-songwriter Ciara. The album had three lead promo singles “Sweat”, “Sorry” and “Got Me Good”. Sessions for the album began almost immediately after the release of her fourth album Basic Instinct in 2011. The original incarnation of the album included sessions with Bangladesh, Jermaine Dupri, Hit-Boy and Da Internz but these tracks were scrapped. Livvi Franc and Ali Tamposi were also set to write much of the original album with Ciara but only two tracks made the final cut. Furthermore, Darkchild, The Underdogs, Elijah Blake, Soundz and Wynter Gordon, who made the eventual album release Ciara 2 years later in 2013. Ciara also had sessions with Basic Instinct executive producers Tricky Stewart and The-Dream but these songs had to be scrapped due to The-Dream’s label Def Jam only allowing him to work with their own artists. The-Dream via Rap-Up / I have a contract under Def Jam so it’s only certain people I work with. [The executives] were real smart by putting that in there, I made them pay for it.”
