Delusional Thomas - Delusional Thomas
Delusional Thomas

Delusional Thomas is the self-titled mixtape of Mac Miller’s dark alter-ego. The mixtape was released on Halloween night in 2013 to coincide with the horror themes explored throughout the tape. Production was almost entirely handled by Mac under his producer alias Larry Fisherman, and features were limited to collaborators close to Mac including Bill Waves, Earl Sweatshirt, Da$H, and even Mac as himself. The mixtape was made during what many consider to be Mac’s most prolific period as an artist during his Sanctuary era. Delusional Thomas' distinct high-pitched vocals first appeared uncredited earlier that year throughout Mac’s sophomore studio album Watching Movies with the Sound Off in June 2013. Mac announced on Twitter only a week after the album’s release that he was producing an EP for a rapper named Delusional Thomas. After spending the next few months on the Space Migration Tour, Mac returned to the studio and on October 31, Halloween night, he uploaded the project to DelusionalThomas.com, revealing Delusional Thomas to be a dark alter-ego of Mac’s with high-pitched vocals.
