Hard is Jagged Edge’s fourth album and the follow up to June 2001’s Jagged Little Thrill. Released under Sony Urban Music and Columbia Records, the album marks the group’s first album not released on Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def Recordings label. Hard debuted and peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold 178,000 units during its first week in the States. The album is also certified Gold by the RIAA. Hard spawned two singles: its lead single, “Walked Outta Heaven” and “What’s It Like” peaked at #3 and #85 on the Hot 100 chart respectively.
