Allure is the self-titled debut studio album by R&B group Allure, released on May 6, 1997, via Crave Records. The group was composed of four members: Alia Gray (née Davis), Hem-Lee (aka Linnie Belcher), Lalisha Sanders, and Akissa Mendez. As of February 20, 1998, the album has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album was a commercial failure, peaking at #108 on the Billboard 200. It is their first and only album to appear on the album chart. A total of four singles were released from the album: “Head over Heels,” “No Question,” “All Cried Out,” and “Last Chance”. “Head Over Heels” and “All Cried Out” were both a commercial success on the Hot 100, peaking at #35 and #4, respectively. “All Cried Out” became the only single to appear in the top 5.
