Being announced in late 2013, this was originally supposed to be an EP and a prelude to Man On The Moon III. Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon then turned into Kid Cudi’s fourth studio album. The original plan for Man on the Moon III was for it to be released in 2015 (hinted at with the track “In My Dreams 2015”), but he went on record stating that Man on the Moon III didn’t exist, and he released Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven instead. Man on the Moon III officially released in 2020, but it was primarily concepted after 2015. It is often overlooked as it was put in between Indicud & Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven, both of which are his most controversial projects to date. The digital release track listing:
