Nastradamus - Nas
Nastradamus

After dropping I Am… in April 1999, Nas came right back with Nastradamus seven months later. Despite heavy criticism of the album’s production, the album still went on to achieve platinum status with support from the singles “Nastradamus” and the Timbaland-produced “You Owe Me” featuring Ginuwine. The title track was significant as the line “You wanna ball ‘til you fall, I can help you with that” was seen as a shot at Roc-a-Fella Records artist Memphis Bleek by referencing the chorus of his single “What You Think of That.” This helped spark the battle between Nas and JAY-Z in the following years.
