Durrell Artaze Babbs, better known by his stage name Tank, is an American R&B singer recognized for his powerful vocals and smooth, emotionally driven slow jams. He first gained attention as a background vocalist for Ginuwine before launching a solo career that produced standout hits like “Maybe I Deserve,” “Please Don’t Go,” and “When We,” quickly becoming one of the defining voices of 2000s and modern R&B. Beyond his own charting albums, Tank has written and produced for artists including Aaliyah, Jamie Foxx, Kelly Rowland, and Alicia Keys. He also joined Tyrese and Ginuwine to form the R&B supergroup TGT, cementing his status as one of the most influential figures in contemporary R&B.
