Skrillex

Sonny John Moore, known as Skrillex, is an American DJ and music producer born on January 15, 1988 in Los Angeles, California, United States. Sonny Moore found club and mainstream stardom beginning in 2008, when he swapped his gig as post-hardcore frontman for From First to Last and created the dancefloor-oriented project, Skrillex. He initially used the name for live DJ sets, but in 2009 the project moved into the studio with Skrillex remixing the likes of Lady Gaga and Snoop Dogg. Now he strives in mainstream success, playing monstrous live sets, releasing songs that rack up millions of listens and producing for the likes of Justin Bieber, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla Sign, and Ellie Goulding, and formed the duo Jack U with equally successful producer Thomas “Diplo” Pentz.
