Nova Sosa

Nova Sosa is an upcoming artist from Harlem, NY who now resides in Oakland, CA. He has been on and off the music scene since 2011 with his debut mixtape “One Man Army” which was released 11-11-2011 (Veteran’s day) As an actual veteran, Nova Sosa has served in the U.S. Army for over 12 years, and has done a tour of duty in Iraq. With his sophomore mixtape “War & Peace” (12-12-2012). Nova Sosa seemed to find his niche for word play, displaying his lyrical skills on a remix of Gang Starr’s “Mass Appeal” to the more catchy “Mile High Club”. The third mixtape to be released titled “A.W.O.L” hinted at his style being diverted away from Army references as tracks such as “Well It’s Time” displays his ability to have a faster flow. Fast forward to 2019, Nova is back to let the competition know they may have won the battle, but they will not win the war.
